Non UK registered companies?
Does the definition of a UK company for clarification mean a company that is registered as a UK company? What if you are not a UK registered company but have a branch office based in the UK?
The ESOS regulations apply to any large undertaking or enterprise that carries out a trade or a business, which includes any corporate group where one or more members of the UK group meets the ESOS definition of a large undertaking. Therefore, if your branch office is classed as a large undertaking, the UK business would fall within the remit of the legislation.
